ENCORE WIND ENSEMBLE
Charles B. Olson Young Composers Contest
The Charles B. Olson Young Composers Contest is sponsored by the Encore Wind Ensemble of Woodbury, Minnesota. This contest has been created to encourage developing young composers 15-22 years of age and promote the performance of high quality wind band literature in honor of the ensemble's founding conductor, Charles B. Olson.
The winning composition will receive a $1,000 cash award with a public performance and compact disc recording by the Encore Wind Ensemble.
